Wildfire prevention

Wildfires have evolved to become a yearly occurrence in South Africa and have destroyed most of our Natural Resources. These disasters began in the early 1980s and has since been with us as a nation. Because of this, Action for Green Life was created to help with wildfire prevention and to minimize the incidence and spread of wildfire in South Africa especially in the transitional zone of Ghana.

We intend to protect our country through Environmental Conservation by defending it from these fires. As part of our programs, educational campaigns were organised during the dry season providing farmers and the rural folks with environmental Education on the prudent use of fire. Because of this, a team from the Organisation carried out an educational campaign in Sunyani Forest District.
