Ride 4 A Woman

The primary goal of Ride 4 a Woman is to economically and socially empower local women in the closest communities surrounding Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. This initiative is designed to tackle issues related with bicycles. By using this form of eco Transport to get around, not only do we rent bicycles to tourists to fund our Women’s Community Centre, we offer Bicycle career training to the women as one of the career options they can choose with us.

We assist every female member of Ride 4 a Woman get her own Bike to eliminate the many hours of walking necessary in this area of southwest Uganda. As a matter of fact, a bicycle is at least six times faster than walking, saving a great deal of valuable time.
