This massive continent holds a gigantic proportion of the planet's Natural Resources of which only a tiny bit is currently being exploited. In order for Africa to reap the economic and social benefits inherent in this wealth, it is a critical need address such issues as proper management of natural resources as well as the environmental impact.

One important aspect of our work on natural resources is the conduct of policy-oriented research which aims to support the policy, legal and regulatory frameworks for the proper management of natural resources on the African continent.
