PFG Glass

PFG, a division of the PG Group, is the leading manufacturer of float and patterned glass in southern Africa, as well as laminated glass, mirrors, and sealant products.

PFG’s decoration: ProSun Solar is a quality South African brand that has been developed to produce a world class, extra clear low iron patterned glass product for the solar hot water industry.
The glass has a textured bottom surface and a soft matt finish on the top surface, which assists in reducing glare.
PFG’s ProSun Solar Glass has been tested by a leading European research centre for thermal solar energy. PFG has the ability to manufacture to a SPF U2 rating, the highest rating as determined by European standards.
Due to the improved chemical composition of ProSun glass, the performance is measureably greater than that of normal glass in that it allows for greater thermal energy transmission.
Tempering of the glass gives added protection of the absorber plate and other internal panel components, against hail and other weathering.
