The League of Environmental Journalists (LEJ) believes that by working to elevate the quality, quantity and significance of media coverage of environmental issues, public understanding of environmental issues will be enriched and human societies will be moved to live in ways that protect the earth’s environment and its capacity to provide for the needs and aspirations of current and future generations.The mission of the LEJ is to enhance the professional skills of journalists in Ghana interested in reporting on environmental issues and thereby increase the quantity, depth and quality of media reports on environmental issues.
