Ethiopian Cleaner Production Centre (ECPC)

The project “Promoting Resource Efficiency in Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (PRE-SME)” was developed by UNEP and was implemented under the framework of the Joint UNIDO-UNEP Program on Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production (RECP) in Developing and Transition Economies. The main objective of the project was to develop an integrated Toolkit that will be used to develop the capacities of National Cleaner Production Centers (NCPCs) and other RECP service providers and assist SMEs to increase their overall productive efficiency through the efficient use of natural resources, thereby minimizing their negative impacts on the environment and promoting human development through the reduction of the associated risks.
