The Antarctic Ocean Alliance is a coalition of more than 30 environmental organisations and high-profile individuals working together to achieve large-scale protection for key Antarctic ocean ecosystems. The AOA has identified 19 key Southern Ocean habitats that should be protected under effective, binding and permanent agreements starting with the designation of the Ross Sea and East Antarctica.
